Today we want to show you a current blog post:

This weekend, in a first division match, there was an action that is not normally in the pitch of football and for this reason; many people do not know what the regulations say about this fact. The play happened last Saturday at the Vicente Calderon stadium, in the match played between Atletico Madrid and Malaga.

A few minutes to finish the first part of the match, Malaga team had the ball and was making a determined run against the goal Atletico, when the player who had the ball ,passed near the bench of  Atletico , another ball was thrown on the football pitch trying to annoy the player in order to avoid that he ended the play. The valencian referee, Mateu Lahoz, correctly let the game continue until the ball was offside.

Once the match had been stopped, the referee approached the local bench and as he could not know who was the person who had thrown the ball, he decided to expel the match the coach of Atletico Madrid, responsible for things that happen in the bench.

This situation as unusual was well resolved by this international referee, showing the good knowledge of the laws of the game that have the Spanish referees.

The regulation says " When a ball is launched from the players bench area, to the football pitch, it is considered inappropriate conduct and the author of the launching should be expelled, if the referee not able to identify the author, the first coach of the team will be sent off, as responsible for the events that happen on the bench. The sanction shall be a minimum of three matches"

This standard is written in Article 101.2 of the disciplinary code of the Spanish Football Federation.

A new tool to help the referee in his doubts.

Nowadays in the XXI century, it is impossible not to talk about new technologies and the implementing of these in our daily lives.

Therefore, the German football federation didn´t doubt a second to incorporate new technologies as support resources to improve refereeing decisions during the course of the match.

The objective of the implementation of this tool is helping to resolve possible conflict plays,  that the referee can´t solve at the moment. The incorporation of video in the Bundesliga doesn´t replace the role of the referee, but it can be useful to help the referee. It will have a trial period of two years, where it will be checked if this tool is useful for referees to resolve any doubts.

Positioning of the referee during the football match

THE EASIEST IS TO BLAME THE REFEREE

             All weekends, at the matches, in any community, regardless of the category , in the football record is reflected, at least, one card for "deprecate the referee's decisions" what colloquially we know as protest.

            Normally, no team , both management and the coach penalize the player, who is the only guilty of that card. Many times, this card makes that the player can't play the next match to be the fifth that he have, there are also players who make that his team play the match with one less player because this card is the second in the same match, even, some get that the referee show them the red card for his bad attitude.

            These players seriously prejudice his team and they are aware of it , because they do of their own accord , however, his fans don't blame, insult and spit him and especially, they  don't wait him at the exit to criticize his job.

            All these reprisals only will run in one direction, to the match referee, he will be guilty, he will have the blame that a player yell at him to centimetres from the face or a player insult him, also, he will be accused of failing to keep their education.

            Illogical ¿truth? Well unfortunately this is so, people defend to who makes the mistake and they attack to the referee that he is keeping composure and forms and defends respect and education.

            There are many cards on the football pitch, many of them are necessary because of the tactical mistakes, others can't be avoided, even some cards are a mistake in the appreciation of the referee, but the card that can never be justified is that pulls out to protest the decision of a referee, that's the only card that is 100 % preventable and is the player who have the blame of having hurt his team. But what you see are coaches and fans reproaching the referee that the player can’t play the following week or you have left them with one less player.

            It is the player who decides to disrespect to a person who just does his job , which as everyone , doesn´t like to make mistakes or failures, but obviously, like every human , make mistakes , but, have the players the right  to demonstrate a complete lack of education on a football pitch , belittle the work of another person or attack him by a mistake? Probably if we saw the performance of the player during the match , he will make many more mistakes than the referee , failed passes, contrary that escape , controls that are not good, shots on goal to be outside . Should the referee go to remonstrate these failures then?

            If in a situation of daily life, in any conversation between friends, everyone would accept that a human can't be perfect for 90 min, why we don't move these values ​​to the football? Why we discredit the sport?

The referee of Barça vs Real Madrid

Alejandro Hernández Hernández, this canary referee is chosen to lead the wonderful match that twice a year the Real Madrid and Barcelona play. A match that half the world sees which everyone gives their opinion and where the referee is examined every minute.

For Alejandro Hernandez Hernández, this will be his first Barça-Madrid, and although there isn't much at stake, between the two teams, this is always a special match.

This is the fourth season of Alejandro in the first division of Spanish football. He is a referee who likes to talk with the players, a quiet person.

The gift of this match is a reward for his hard work and humility, a vote of confidence and a warning of everything that he lies ahead this young canary referee, who is only 33 years, so no wonder that in the future we can see him in a European match or in the World Cup match.

As assistant referees that will accompany Alejandro, we can see another canary, Jose Enrique Perez Naranjo and a manchego, Teodoro Sobrino Magan, also, the canary Alexandre Perez Aleman will control the benchs as  a fourth official.

Replacement of the referee

These days, the role of the referee in the sport usually goes past unperceived. On the one hand, most people don´t know the progress that this collective must follow to practise their job (in this case into the football pitch), the steps that they have to follow to rise in each category and the requests of those, as psychology as physical.

On the other hand, the physical training of the referee is very similar to the players of the elite. Maybe, we think that is not usual that a referee will be replaced during the football match. Whereas, this is a situation that it can happen, because the referees, as athletics that they are, they can suffer any kind of injury.

Is here where the figure of the fourth referee appears. A person, who goes by unperceived by the majority of the spectators, and whose role is stand in for some referee, who would be injured. In addition, the fourth referee should assist to the principal referee to write the changes, the cautions and the expulsions.

In the professional category, generally is a judge of the line, who replaces to the collegiate member and the fourth referee becomes in an assistant referee. In this way the roles of each one are different.

More frequently injuries

Refereeing is a task that exist a lot, from the physical and psychologically point, so it is an equally important injury prevention for players and referees. The referee must be physically better prepared than the players. 

Likewise, it is equally important the psychological preparation of these because they must be under mental stress to control the game watching all the players in the bench area and the stands, with the objective that the match developed in the best conditions. 

Mainly, with this essay we want to show which are the most usual injuries in the refereeing group and why these can be produce. In addition, we have also analyzed how certain injuries could happen during the course of a game.

 

The figure of the delegate field in football

The figure of the delegate field in football is one of the most used, because practically all football teams have a license of this kind.

The soccer rules federation, requires teams that play at home must have necessarily a delegate field, although this is not always respected when it is, it is not done in the right way, especially in amateur football.

With this pdf we will try to explain the true features that the delegate field should know and bear in mind during matches, because there are many delegate fields that does not use that license in the correct form, they usually use it as trainers.

How is the education in the sport of the competition?

Education in low categories is essential and primordial. That is why people should keep this in mind.

Nowadays violence is commonly seen in sport. People should be concerned about this problem, so we must try to solve it and specially if they are involved in football being a coach or even a referee or player. It would be interesting that you consult this presentation. 

The beginning

This is a blog created by a group of students from the University of Alicante, where we are studying Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport which is also called CAFD degree. 

This blog has been created in order to provide the necessary information about football which is one of the most practised sports nowadays. We will try to help all the future football players providing them the correct understanding and updating of its rules by refuting false myths and explaining atypical situations in soccer fields, in which people are not usually aware of, even if they belong to any football team.

This is a fantastic and interesting blog also for all those young coaches, especially the ones who are in an amateur level that do not know properly football rules and history. That is why false myths are thought to be real, so we think that this blog is the perfect tool for trainers who want to transmit their players the appropriate knowledge.

Moreover, each week we will discuss about polemic plays in order to understand the role of the referee in a match.

Finally, we want that our followers form an active part in the blog, so we will have a section in which they will be able to have the opportunity of asking questions or possible related to football.
